Intensive Courses

The Muay Thai Sangha Arts holds a number of intensive fighting arts courses per year to pass on the curriculum for those who want to experience a truly effective fighting system. The intensive course curriculum when fully completed will allow students to become a certified teacher recognized by the school.  

The entire Muay Thai Sangha Fighting Arts curriculum covers armed and unarmed combat situations from stand-up to ground fighting techniques, both for competition and self-defense purposes. 

The duration of any of the Intensive Courses is one full month. Training in all the courses cover 6 hours per day, 5 days per week (Monday-Friday), and 3 hours on Saturday. Each intensive course is split into morning and evening sessions with a 3 hours break in between.

The Courses are held at our Muay Thai Sangha Fighting Arts Camp located in the heart of Northern Thailand, only 40 minutes North of Chiang Mai in the village of Mae Taeng, a small town surrounded by mountains next to the Sri Lanna national park. 


The Intensive Courses Curriculum are divided into Six different levels of difficulty:

  • Beginners Level 1
  • Beginners Level 2
  • Intermediate Level 1
  • Intermediate Level 2
  • Advanced Level 1
  • Advanced Level 2 

The Beginners Level 1 Intensive Course is composed of Krabong and Thai Double Swords Single Attack Upper Modules training in the morning, and both Muay Chaiya and Muay Thai basic training in the evening.

The Beginners Level 2 Intensive Course is composed of Krabong and Thai Double Swords Single Attacks Lower modules in the morning and Muay Thai Sangha Ground Fighting and Takedowns in the evening.

The Intermediate Level 1 Course includes Krabong and Thai Double Swords Double Attacks Upper Modules in the morning. In the evening the curriculum covers the Muay Chaiya and Muay Thai Multi Opponent Blended Techniques Module.

The Intermediate Level 2 Course includes Krabong and Double Swords Double Attacks Lower Modules in the morning. In the evening the curriculum covers the and Krabong-Muay Thai Chaiya Blended Techniques Module.

The Advanced Levels 1 and 2 are reserved for those who want to become teachers. The training covers Double Swords and Krabong Advanced Modules and also incorporates Knife and Spear training to the curriculum. The evening training focus in the 108 Muay Thai Sangha Counter Techniques and Empty Hand Training against Weapons

*Please note that in our school we don't sell certificates and learning the arts takes time. Our courses are based in progressive intelligent training and the skills that you will gain are completely real. Before fencie techniques you must learn the principles of movement, proper footwork and coordination drills. At the advanced level, all the skills must be checked in sparring. To test the bladed weapons it will require proper protective gear.

Food and Accommodation are excluded. The maximum amount of students per course is 10 people and an early booking is necessary to reserve your space.
